Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold full-time degrees or diplomas from recognized institutions. UAE programs must be accredited by the MOE/NQA.

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 3 years
  • Master’s Degree: Minimum 2 years (1-year accepted from listed countries)
  • Diplomas: Minimum 2 years (for certain technician roles)

Licensing is available for over 30 specialties, including:

  • Radiography
  • Medical Laboratory
  • Dental Assistance & Hygiene
  • Speech Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Paramedics & EMTs
  • Optometry
  • Anesthesia
  • Audiology
  • Psychology
  • Emergency & Public Health

Each title has its own education and experience standards.

Clinical and Experience Rules

  • Non-UAE national UAE graduates: 6-month clinical training in APS facility
  • GCC nationals: 6-month clinical training required
  • Postgraduate degrees (MSc/PhD) can reduce experience requirements by 1 year
  • Assistant professionals must work under licensed supervision

Licensing and Documentation

All applicants must hold a valid license or registration from their home country or last country of employment. Good standing certificates and credential verification are required.
